Another St. George Marathon over and done! Scott ran another marathon making this 9 St. George's and 11 total. I think he is crazy! Anyway, he did fabulous again. This year his time was 3 hr 3 min. Just for fun facts: A marathon is 26.2 miles, there were 5629 finishers, Scott placed 183 over all, Scott ran an average pace of 6.9 min/miles, the winner finished in 2:21 with an average of 5.4 min/mile. Scott has a huge fan club! Thanks everyone for coming to support Scott and his running. We love you! Thanks Mitchell's, Baker's, and Caroline for letting us spend Marathon/Conference weekend with you. We had loads of fun. Thanks Lucinda and Grandpa and Grandma Bushar for showing your support. It meant a lot to Scott!
Way to go Scott! You rock. We wish we were like you. Sorry we missed the big race. Hope you aren't too sore. You are an awesome runner and brother!
ReplyDeleteScott, you are an amazing runner! What pure talent! What is your slowest marathon? Maybe I can have a goal to beat it some time in my life....but probably not. It was great to spend the weekend with you. It was a blast!
