Ogden Marathon

These last few week have been a whirlwind of activities. Here is a rundown of our lives. The girls both danced in their school talent show, Scottie finished soccer and started baseball, all the kids have had one last field trip, we had a big primary activity, Josie ran in the district Hershey track meet, we went to visit Grandma Bushar for Mother's Day at the cabin in Pine Valley, our friend Vivian came for some visits, we went to the fireworks for Cotton Days (they were some of the best I've seen!), Scott and I had our ward's adult social, we had a super fun street party, and then we threw in a trip to Ogden for Scott to run the Ogden Marathon. I am beat, and I didn't even run. Scott did awesome as always. He took it a little easier than he usually does, but considering his hours at work and not sleeping or training like he should, he did great. The trip was super fun, even though we missed Rachel and Kody who couldn't come. We decided to leave the kids with Grandpa and Grandma Bushar. Thanks! They had lots of fun and it was so nice to have a little break. We picked Misha and Joe up in Salt Lake and drove to Logan to Martha's and Adam's home. Adam ran the marathon, as well, and we had tons of fun visiting and cheering the boys on. Good job Adam and Scott!

Scott at mile #13. Looking good!

Adam, about half way done! Go Adam, go.

Scott finishing strong! You made it.

So, so glad to be finished.

Marathon #10 for Scott. What is wrong with this guy? He won't stop. Already signed up for his next one!

Rerunning the marathon, mile by mile, in their minds. Figuring out what they can do better next time.

Adam, Scott, and Luke with the finish line behind them.

A.J, Adri, and Martha. Thanks for the fun time!

Joe and Misha (and the baby). Thanks for pushing the stroller and hanging with us all weekend.

Me with my studmuffin, Scott! You are the best.

  1. You guys are the greatest! Thanks for the fun weekend and yesterday! Too bad we live so far away. Maybe good for you though, or we would be at your house every day. Have a fun last week of school!
